Intraday Trading Plan

A checklist, not advice. Confirm exchange timings on nseindia.com.

Phase 1: Observation (9:15 - 9:45 AM)

No trades: let the opening volatility settle.
Mark levels: note the opening range high and low.

Phase 2: Execution (after 9:45 AM)

Confirm: enter only if price holds above VWAP with your indicator agreeing.
Strict stop-loss: set it before entry (fixed points or a fixed % of premium).
Size: risk a fixed small % of capital per trade.

Phase 3: Square-off (before 3:15 PM)

Close intraday positions to avoid overnight gaps and auto square-off charges.

Arbitrage reminders

Last-traded prices can be stale. Check bid/ask before acting.
A quoted basis is only a profit if it beats financing, STT, brokerage and slippage. The Scanner does that math for you.
Monthly contracts expire on the last Tuesday (the previous trading day if it is a holiday).
